Network of Arab Universities

In order to enhance the social sciences and humanities in Arab Universities, especially in terms of educational policies, innovative pedagogies and opportunities for faculty and students, the ACSS established the Network of Arab Universities, to encourage collaboration among academic institutions in the Arab region in the above areas. The Network held its first meeting during the ACSS Sixth Conference in Beirut in May 2023, followed by several meetings, to discuss and agree on potential areas of collaboration between Arab universities. 

Representatives

The Network includes representatives of the following institutions:

  • Notre Dame University in Lebanon
  • Al Akhawayn University in Morocco
  • Doha Institute for Graduate Studies
  • Lebanese University
  • Manouba University in Tunisia

Steering Committee

The Network is managed by a steering committee. Dr. Mounir Saidani, member of the ACSS Board of Trustees, chairs the committee meetings.
