One of the core goals of the Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS) is to encourage the production and publication of independent and high-quality social science research in the Arab region. Towards this end, the ACSS has launched the Working Paper Series which provides a platform for researchers to share their work in progress and receive feedback from their peers prior to publication in international peer-reviewed journals. The Working Papers also provide exposure to a wider base of social scientists which enhances opportunities for collaboration with researchers in and outside the Arab region.
