The ACSS Conference is a biennial event open to participants from all social science and allied disciplines and to scholars from the Arab region and the rest of the world. This 3-4 day public event includes presentations and papers selected competitively through an open call on a theme selected by the ACSS Board of Trustees. In addition to presentations, the conference includes roundtables on new research directions, plenaries and keynote sessions. Other activities include book exhibits from regional publishers, workshops organized by partner organizations, “Meet the Author” sessions, poster sessions as well as a meeting of the ACSS General Assembly. The conference gives participants (who are all fully funded to attend) the opportunity to present to a diverse and interdisciplinary audience.
