Headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon, the ACSS office is headed by the Director General, and includes – as of October 2023 – 20 staff members: 15 Lebanese, 2 Jordanians, 1 Egyptian, and 2 Bangladeshis. ACSS staff also includes full-time consultants for administrative and programmatic work. Our staff is made up of 14 women and 6 men.
With the assistance of ACSS staff, the director manages the daily operations and implementation of the decisions of the Board of Trustees. Activities are carried out in coordination with the BoT, and take into account recommendations made by various standing and ad hoc advisory committees as well as by the General Assembly.
In addition to the Beirut-based staff, the ACSS has focal points in Palestine and Algeria who work on a part-time basis.
