The Annual Lecture Series Publication is published at the end of the series of lectures organized by the ACSS to honor prominent social scientists in the Arab region. The publication contains the principal lectures delivered during the series along with commentaries, testimonials, photographs and a comprehensive bibliography of the works of the honored scholar. The first publication honored Palestinian historian Hanna Batatu and the second, Moroccan sociologist Fatema Mernissi .
