The University of Oklahoma’s Department of International and Area Studies, a multidisciplinary academic department in the dynamic College of International Studies (CIS), invites applications for the Mackey Professorship in Middle East Studies. We seek advanced assistant professors or associate professors for this tenure-track or tenured position. We are interested in candidates working on issues of energy, resources and environment in the Middle East, to include the political economy of energy, critical political economy, development, human development, and the political economy of conflict.
Scholars in the fields of political science/political economy, history, sociology, anthropology, and geography (or related humanities and social sciences disciplines) are welcome to apply. Candidates must have relevant Middle East regional expertise and language skills.
