The Department of Economics at the American University of Beirut invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level to begin August 15, 2019. The position is open to all fields of study in Economics. Primary considerations will be an outstanding research record, excellent recommendations, and a demonstrated ability in teaching.
The appointments are for an initial period of four years with opportunities for promotion and advancement. The teaching load is 4 courses a year. The language of instruction is English. Duties include teaching, research, and service. Applicants must have completed their PhD by August 2019.
