The Mohammed Arkoun Foundation for Peace Between Cultures announces the international competition for the Mohammed Arkoun’s Prize, 2016 edition. 

 

The scientific committee has chosen the following subject: “How to get out of the dogmatic closures and of the anthropological triangle of violence, sacred, truth, in Mohammed Arkoun’s work?”

 

The work has to be written in Arabic, French or English and comprise 100 to 150 pages. It must be sent in pdf format to the Foundation’s address (touryac@fondation-arkoun.org) before May 31, 2016.

 

The competition is open to doctoral students, professors and researchers in the disciplines related to those developed by Mohammed Arkoun.

 

This 4,000 euros, bi-annual prize is entirely financed by the Academy of Latinity in Rio de Janeiro, in hommage to the memory of Mohammed Arkoun.
