The Department of Political Studies and Public Administration (PSPA) at the American University of Beirut’s (AUB) is accepting applications for one full-time faculty position at the rank of assistant professor in international or comparative politics preferably with a focus on conflict resolution, critical analysis of intervention, and/or humanitarian issues (including refugees and law), and with a research agenda in, or relevant to, the contemporary Arab world to begin August 15, 2016.
We welcome qualified applicants who possess a PhD in Political Science or a relevant field by the time of appointment. Qualified candidates should possess teaching experience, a research agenda that complements the department’s existing area of expertise and a genuine interest in building a career at AUB.
