The Department of Government and International Relations at Notre Dame University Louaize (NDU) in Lebanon invites applications for a full-time faculty position in International Relations at the Assistant Professor level starting late September 2015.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in International Relations/Political Science (with preference given to those who are familiar with the Middle East context and politics). Previous teaching and/or post-doctoral experience is a plus.
NDU is a private, Lebanese non-profit Catholic institution of higher education which adopts the American system of education. The Department gives a strong attention to practical knowledge and interaction with the community. The successful applicant is expected to teach mostly undergraduate courses and some graduate courses in International Relations and Political Science, to engage in research that can involve students, and participate in the academic/social life of the University.
