Founded in 1919, AUC moved to a new 270-acre state-of-the-art campus in New Cairo in 2008. Job Description: The Department of Political Science invites applications for a one-year position in International Relations Theory beginning in Fall 2015. Applicants should have a research interest and teaching experience in international relations theory with sub-specialization in political theory preferably with some focus on classical and contemporary European (or Western) and Arab (or Islamic) political theory. The search committee is eager to review applications of individuals with demonstrated excellence in teaching. Requirements: PhD is required at time of appointment. Successful candidates should have an ongoing program of research and publication. Teaching experience is preferred. Responsibilities may include graduate as well as undergraduate teaching, an active program of research and publications, and service to the Department and the University.
