Share your Ideas and Apply to the Home Edition of Create Syria before 15 July 2020
We continue to receive your applications to the Home Edition of Create Syria, a programme carried out in partnership with the British Council which seeks to strengthen artists’ ability to contribute to the development of stronger, more cohesive communities through the design and delivery of community arts initiatives that focus on artistic experience and quality.
Create Syria supports individuals and initiatives to build new skills and expand their experiences and networks with creative practitioners interested in the relationship between arts and community practices. Create Syria is open to all Syrian artists residing in Jordan, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and Europe.
Under the title of Home Edition, this third edition of Create Syria will enable artists to develop their technical and artistic skills in community settings through Idea Development Support. This is a new path of support that gives the opportunity for ten artists or creative practitioners to expand their experience and understanding of arts and social change. This path provides a space for research and practical experimentation to those seeking to develop more mature creative proposals. The support package includes the following components:
- An online participatory platform for idea sharing and mentorship from local and international experts.
- A package of financial and in-kind support of up to $ 6,000 for ten artists to develop ideas and test them and/or parts thereof experimentally.
- Local and international peer-to-peer networking opportunities.
The deadline for the submission of applications is on the 15th of July, 2020, midnight Beirut time.

نستمر في استقبال طلبات التقدم إلى الدورة المنزلية من برنامج ابتكر سوريا بالشراكة مع المجلس الثقافي البريطاني، والذي يسعى إلى تعزيز قدرات الفنانيين/ات على المساهمة في تطوير مجتمعات أقوى وأكثر تماسكاً من خلال تصميم وتنفيذ مبادرات فنية مجتمعية تهتم بالتجربة والسوية الفنية.
يدعم ابتكر سوريا الأفراد والمبادرات لبناء مهارات جديدة، وتطوير خبراتهم والتواصل مع الممارسين المبدعين المهتمين بعلاقة الفنون بالممارسات المجتمعية. يتوجه ابتكر سوريا إلى كافة الفنانين السوريّين المتواجدين في الأردن، تركيا، سوريا، لبنان، مصر وأوروبا.
تمكّن الدورة المنزلية الفنانين من بناء مهاراتهم الفنية والتقنية واستخدامها ضمن سياق التغيير الإجتماعي وذلك من خلال دعم تطوير الأفكار. وهو مسار دعم جديد يتم من خلاله إتاحة الفرصة أمام عشرة أصحاب أفكار مبتكرة لتطوير خبراتهم في فهم الفنون والتغيير المجتمعي. يوفّر هذا المسار مساحة اختبار وبحث للراغبين في إنضاج وتطوير مقترحات إبداعية، وتتضمن حزمة الدعم المكونات التالية:
- - منصة رقمية لتبادل الأفكار والمصاحبة الفنية مع خبراء محليين ودوليين
- - حزمة من الدعم المالي والعيني يصل إلى 6000 دولار أمريكي لتطوير مقترحات الأفكار واختبار مسارها و/أو أجزاءً منها
- - فرص تشبيك وتعاون مع شبكات فنية محلية ودولية
- يستمر استقبال الطلبات حتى منتصف ليل 15 تموز / يوليو 2020 بتوقيت بيروت
