The Arab Regional Forum on the Humanities entitled “Re-centering the Humanities: The Arab Regional Forum on Humanities”, was held virtually in partnership with the UNESCO and the International Center for Human Sciences (CISH) on April 6 and 7, 2021. The Forum aimed to share the developments of follow up initiatives in the Arab region to the key recommendations of the World Humanities Conference (August 2017) and discuss challenges and opportunities for humanities education and research and the policy–research nexus for inclusion in the Arab societies. It also aimed to explore regional and international collaboration opportunities among stakeholders of Humanities.
